Annabella Sciorra plays a Manhattan shrink with a couple of particularly troubling patients. The most haunting is a woman (Deborah Unger) with unusually kinky sexual tastes; Sciorra gets gooned out when she realizes that her new boyfriend (Jamey Sheridan) is the same guy her patient has been seeing. And when the patient winds up dead, Sciorra begins looking slantwise at her boyfriend. Unfortunately, despite some spooky mood setting, this psychological thriller goes in circles and ends up nowhere, thanks to the implausible stretches of writer-director Christopher Crowe's script. Sciorra seems hollow at the film's center, though Sheridan brings a certain scary charisma to his boyf! riend role and Alan Alda is solid as her psychiatric mentor. --Marshall FineAnnabella Sciorra plays a Manhattan shrink with a couple of particularly troubling patients. A delightful spoof (The Hollywood Reporter) on the don'ts of saying I do, True Love is both funny and fascinating (Los Angeles Tim! es)! Donna (Sciorra) and Michael (Eldard) are newlyweds-to-beor not to bewhen their big decision to marry is undermined by all the small decisions about the wedding! From the color of his tuxedo to the color of her mashedpotatoes, this once-romantic twosome has lost the love that brought them to the brink of matrimony and found that their differences could take them to the brink of insanity! This amusing but uncomfortable story about preparations and rituals for a Bronx wedding, from the engagement party to the big day itself, is a patchwork quilt of comedy and drama from director Nancy Savoca (Dogfight). At the heart of the story is the suspicion that perhaps the two people getting hitched aren't right for each other, but the engine of a family wedding has raced ahead of other considerations. Ron Eldard is very good as the boy-man groom-to-be, and Annabella Sciorra is also strong as his more mature fiancée. The script is by Savoca and her own husband, Richard Guay.! --Tom Keogh Romantic comedy centering around a New Yor! k con ed ison worker who gets an unexpected second chance at first love.Underworld Movie Denis Leary Joe Mantegna Annabella Sciorra Original Poster Print - 27x40

MELISSA GEORGE 16X20 COLOR PHOTO

  • Description: High Quality real photograph printed on Fuji Paper.
  • Size: 16X20 inches
  • Would look great at home or in your office!
Studio: Millenium Media Services Release Date: 02/02/2010 Run time: 98 minutes Rating: RThe story follows a young woman as she's tortured by a mysterious figure who suspects her husband of stealing millions from a crime syndicate. One of America’s pre-eminent painters, George Tooker (born 1920) is known for his haunting works that evoke the alienation and anonymity of urban life. Working in egg tempera, a Renaissance medium that produces a luminous quality yet requires meticulous application, Tooker first came to prominence as part of the post-war Magic Realist movement, creating surrealistic visions that captured the uncertainty of the Cold War era. Often compared with Hopper and Wyeth, Tooker continues to examine modern life with his disquieting! imagery. This beautifully produced book, published to coincide with the first major retrospective in 30 years, features superb reproductions of Tooker’s timeless paintings, and includes essays offering new perspectives on his passion for composition, his spirituality and his exploration of identity.Rising star Josh Duhamel (TV's Las Vegas) leads a group of young backpackers who find themselves stranded on a remote Brazilian beach; an exotic paradise, with warm sunshine, cool ocean breezes, and plenty of hot bodies. But, after a night of partying, the wayward turistas are drugged and robbed, and their dream vacation becomes a gruesome nightmare. Trapped and desperate, the vulnerable travelers are lured deep into the menacing jungle and beyond, where a dark and twisted fate too terrifying to imagine awaits. If not for Hostel, we'd never have been treated to the gory, horrific delights so lovingly captured with sadistic detail in Turistas. Together, these movie! s could be spawning a radical new Hollywood-pedigreed sub-genr! e of ext reme horror. Like Hostel, Turistas concerns a group of American hardbodied kids on an exotic foreign vacation--this time in Brazil. After a suspense-filled opening sequence of a speeding bus careening off a dangerous mountain (it's also tinged with just the right kind of humor), the kids wander into the seeming paradise of a secluded beachfront resort where they think nothing of locals who lure them one by one to their gruesome and shocking deaths. Hey, they're here to party! These excruciatingly graphic scenes unfold in the lair of a madman doctor named Zamora, who harvests organs of the still-living as a way of exacting revenge on American turistas to "give back" to the locals they exploit with their capitalist dollars. One such scene has the donor undergoing surgery without the help of anesthesia wherein the lovely young "patient" has the chance to see her still thriving innards pulsing warmly on her well-formed chest to the tune of her own screams. This stu! ff is not for the faint of heart (or liver, or kidney, or lungs, for that matter). But there is a fair amount of nicely staged tension, especially a "foot" chase scene in a water-filled cave that will give claustrophobics a whole new way to experience nightmares. The two most familiar faces are Melissa George and Josh Duhamel, from TV's Alias and Vegas respectively. Fans of this new world of extreme gross-out horror should be thankful that TV has plenty of cute young bodies waiting for their big screen break, no matter how many organs they have to donate to get there. --Ted FryAt Moviestore we have an incredible library of celebrity photography covering movies, TV, music, sport and celebrity. Beating the Odds is the improbable, inspiring autobiography of financial guru Eddie C. Brown, one of the nation's top stock pickers and money managers. It details how Brown skillfully kept Brown Capital Management afloat through the dot-com bust, 9/11 and the Great Recession. Born to a 13-year-old unwed mother in the rural South, this African-American investment whiz created a Baltimore-based financial firm that amassed more than $6 Billion under management.

Brown delves into the profound heartbreak and disorientation upon the death of his beloved grandmother â€" who was his surrogate mother -- and recounts how Brown's moonshine-running Uncle Jake subsequently became the dominant adult figure in Brown's life. His unflinchingly honest, easy-to-read memoir details how intellectual curiosity, abiding self-belief, hard work and divine providence helpe! d Brown earn an electrical engineering degree, become an Army officer, and later a civilian IBM engineer. Readers will learn of the strife that ensued when Brown quit IBM to earn an MBA, leading to investment jobs that prepared him to start his own money management company in 1983.Rachel Penmark is such a different little girl. So calm, so well-mannered - so deadly. The Bad Seed had been a novel, a Broadway play and a landmark 1956 movie before this film brought the harrowing story of a demented child's secret trail of violence to a new generation. Blair Brown (Fringe) heads a stellar cast as Rachel's gentle mother Christine, who gradually discovers the truth about her psychopathic daughter - and about the horrors of her own forgotten childhood. As Christine fits the puzzle pieces together, tension and menace build into a taut cocoon of overpowering dread. And, unlike the earlier movie, this production includes the original ending, a chilling denouement considered too shock! ing for '50s audiences.
